Electric Light Parade will be passing through University Ave.,Ilfeld Auditorium will be open and serving hot chocolate and goodies!(Concessions $1). Get the best view of the electric light parade from the terrace of Ilfeld Auditorium! December 5 -- 5:00pm -- 20th Annual Electric Light Parade -- This years theme for the parade floats is "Children's Christmas". The parade kicks off the Christmas Season for Las Vegas and what a kick off it is. All city lights are turned off along the route of the parade leaving only the hundreds of lights on the many floats to light up the night. It is a sight to behold. Hot chocolate and cider are sold along the route to take the chill off. The parade ends at the Plaza Park where Santa Claus greets all the children and gives them candy and gifts. Christmas carols and music add to the atmosphere. There is a $10.00 General Admission charge. Carl will be performing all the selections from his soon to be released new recording, "Never too Late". The new CD will be on sale at the performance. On January 4, 2010, Carl will be leaving Las Vegas for six months in India . For the first 2 1/2 months of his stay he will be "Artist in Residence" at the United World College, India. After that period his intention is to travel throughout India giving concerts, meeting and hopefully playing with a variety in Indian musicians and exploring Indian culture in general. This concert is a special chance to hear Carl perform in a concert setting before he sets out on his new adventure.
